Editors Reflection

Human Trafficking is the world's number one growing criminal enterprise, and no one is immune. It is in every country, every state, and every city. It doesn't just effect victims but it leaves an impact on our society, media, music, and social media. This issue is very close to my heart and is my passion. I greatly enjoyed this project as I got to learn more, and share the work that I do. I meet with many survivors and it was an amazing experience to be able to share their stories and experiences with you.

I am very proud of how this magizine turned out. I am also proud of my writing and how I reflected my life story, research, and the stories of other survivors. From the beginning of this semester to now, my writing and I have grown through this course. Through revising, drafting, and revising, I have learned the proper writing process, learned patienced, and learned that you can always do better. You have to depend on other people and be willing to take some constructive criticisms inorder to grow in your work.

I grew a passion for writing and telling not only my story but others as well. There is so much power in writing and telling our stories. Giving a voice to our stories takes back the power, and helps you to heal. It is very true that a pen has more power than a sword.

I am very grateful for this course, for my professor, and for the projects we have done. I have immensely enjoyed every project we have done, and the passion I have grown for writing.
